Latino-Hispanic Talent Recognition Event

The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs (GACLA) held its first-ever state wide Latino-Hispanic Talent Recognition event last month at the Forum 
in Harrisburg.

Featuring special guests and acts by Grupo Folkórico San José, Grupo Sobervío Seis, Luis “Vertigho” Reyes, Barrio Alegría, Vientos de México, Sara Jimenez, Paloma y Tigre, Ketty Christian, The Royal Revolt, Feature Performance Monjo Flamenco Grupo Folkórico San José

The winner was Ketty Christian.

Sponsors of the event were Giant Foods, Macy’s, Members 1st Federal Credit Union and Target.

Proceeds from the event benefited Estamos Unidos de Pennsylvania, providing scholarships, leadership programs and career development for future Hispanic-Latino leaders across the Commonwealth.
